The new cross country season started yesterday amidst warm sunshine and bright blue sky. No mud, instead a fast and firm course.
While many won’t see them, there was a large turn out for the junior races with 106 taking part in the U13 event. Future stars in the making!
Despite the presence of the new Manchester HM, numbers were also high in the afternoon. Over 600 in the afternoon races .The atmosphere sounded tremendous with a very spectator friendly course.
It was a classy field at the sharp end. Well done to Di and Peter for leading their respective teams home.
Janine and Andrew will be beating the drum ahead of race two at BHC. Saturday 12th November. Details can be found on the League site www.maccl.Co.uk
My attention on race day is not always on the races and so, someone that raced may be able add some lines.
