To confirm from last night the role of the trustees:-
- To ensure that the Half Marathon operates appropriately legally and financially in accordance with rules of the Charity Commissioners.
- To post the accounts on the Charity Commissioners website so they are available for public scrutiny.
- To appoint the Race Director and determine his/her remuneration.
- To determine how any surplus generated by the race be spent.
The trustees are Tony Kersh (nominated by Rugby), Keith Winterbourne (nominated by Hockey), John Irwin (Half Marathon treasurer, nominated by Running), Nicky Mowat (nominated by Running), Ian Ashcroft (Chair, nominated by Running).
