A super sun filled day to accompany the scenery and hills that typify this popular Half Marathon.
Races that start and finish on the track always hit the button with me, so the Macc Half gets my thumbs up.
Over the years as the event has evolved, a 5K has been added ( starts 15 minutes after the half marathon), and now also a junior fun run…A carnival of running!
With the Congleton Half next week (CRRGP event), we only had one Wilmslow Runner in the "Half". Take a bow Sharon Jones!
269th out of 655 finishers and a time of 1.52.11
The race was won by James Scott-Buccleuch ( Stockport H&AC) 74.32
In the 5k we had Andrew Whittingham & Tony run.
Andrew was 3rd out of 156 finishers in a time of 17.26.
Tony 18th in a time of 21.23.
