Team Hill turned out in force at Congleton, since Gail saw the age graded trophies she has had her two boys doing extra training, it certainly paid off, Gail finishing in 25.20, Lucas and Jacob a few seconds in front. Gail…it's Bramhall where the trophy can be won!
Something was missing at South Manchester, I scanned the results three or four times, Huma… where were you? Our only competitor Graham Screawn, ran a good race in 18.59 a PB for the course and moving him up the table above Steve Bunker.
We had three first timers at Lyme Park, Malc Fowler finished second in 19.46, puts him onto the 5K Trail table in third place. Sharon Johnstone finished first lady in 21.32 and into 5th place on the table above Doc Matt. Gavin Mendham with a time of 28.34 comes onto the table above Julie. Geoff Gilbert couldn't improve on his time and finished in 24.43. It's a tough course this one, I suspect the summer months are the best time to race it.
