In case of doubt about the venue for this race (Monday 31/May at 13:00), see the page for the Sheep Dog Trials, (not to be confused with the Bamford Carnival which is a couple of weeks later).
This trail race, Summer Series race 10, will take place from the Bamford with Thornhill Recreation Ground, which has an excellent website giving all possible information except where it is. Further Googling suggests that it is at S33 0DA (or SK 205 829). From Chapel, on the A6187, turn left in Bamford towards Ladybower (A6103), cross the railway line and take the next left.
Enter on the day, £4 to get into the show. Thanks to Ian S for pointing this out.

I went last year, not for the race but for the Sheepdog Trials which were great fun and worth staying for especially if you can bag a ringside seat. No truth in the rumour that Lassie was given a 6 months suspended sentence.
