There are several new races this year along with some familiar favourites.  The same rules apply as last year – 7 races for a mug and your overall position, 12 races for a t-shirt (to include 5 road and 5 trail).  Note: two races will count as either road/trail – Pie and Peas and Llyn Brenig.

Additionally, running alongside the listed races above will be your best times from the following parkruns :

Road – Congleton or South Manchester        Trail – Lyme Park

The parkruns can be run anytime from Sat Feb 7th until Sat Nov 7th, so plenty of opportunities to go for a good time.  The final results will be included in the overall competition and results based on the same scoring.  Ian Ashcroft will keep a record and publish each month.

Club vests/tops are NOT compulsory at park runs (we don’t want to terrify the locals!).  However, as usual, club vests/tops are compulsory at all the other summer competition races (or your points don't count)

So, there are plenty of targets to aim at.  New events, new challenges, new level of fitness!  Happy points collecting.  And, please remember, you are not expected to run every race – pace yourself!
