Abersoch 10k

Abersoch 10k is always my favourite race of the year. The race has a bit of a carnival atmosphere with, weather permitting, great crowds. The course, whilst no PB’er is very scenic. Starting in Abersoch village and heading up and around Sarn Bach headland, it is notable for a challenging hill at 2 miles and a brutal last km+ along the beach, where you must choose your course over the tidal groins and across the sands to the finish under South Caernarfonshire Yacht Club

Lady B had to bow out with a chest infection but I was pleased to see Jim Pendrill and Katy Green at the start line.

1st Alun Vaughan (Eryri Harriers)  32.41 (1st M-Open)

4th Jim Pendrill 35.28 (2nd M40+ for £75 prize money!)

6th Jane Evans 36.25 (1st Female)

12th Jeremy Bygrave 38.24 (8th M-Open)

47th Katy Green 42.15 (3rd F35 and 3rd female for £50 prize money!)

561 started.

Jeremy.
