I think we all enjoyed the new race – thanks to Malcolm for organising yet another good one and all the WRC marshals out there on such a cold morning! Some great half marathon PB’s to mention – Paul G, Alan, Matt and Janet! There may have been more? And those mad people who did bith Langley & Tatton – Richard, Carolyn & Sharon…
Last race in the Summer Series next year?? It gets my vote…
I forgot Tom on the PB front…
Nicely said Janine… It would certainly get my vote.. Defo would love to do next year but hopefully I can be injury free next time !!
Yes, indeed. Another great race from Malcolm and a big one with 2000 entries. It was freezing – thanks to all the marshals and the WRC supporters out on the course.
I really enjoyed the race, and I am obviously glowing from getting my half time under 2 hours at last! I thought it was a great route (Malcolm) and thanks very much to the WRC marshalls and supporters, it was fab to see you all. I saw Paul doing back marker as I was on my way home, slowly pedalling behind the last runner who was walking up the long drag back to the park. Special recognition to Paul for that, (it must have been cold!) from one who’s had his support on many Thursday nights!
This was a wondeful event! Malcolm and team did a superb job!

For those that check their results on the Power Of 10 website and have queried the NAD (near as dammit) suffix against the results. This was due to me having to remeasure the course after Tatton Park staff insisted that the finish location be moved. Whilst the course measurement was completed the previous weekend and you all ran an accurate course, there has been a delay in issuing the actual certificate of course accuracy. I’ve had an email from PO10 confirming that once the certificate of course accuracy is issued (hopefully this week) the NAD suffix will be removed.
