Sally Price's development as a runner took a back seat with her first pregnancy. Her commitments mean that she still cannot race as often as she would like but performances, like that at Teggs Nose, illustrate the potential, which has still to be fully realised.
Nina Birch has been going through a period of steady improvement. She ran very well at Goyts Moss but it was her PB at the Birchwood 10k, when she also took, for the first time, the division 4 60-points, that really caught the eye.
Gareth Trimble tends to tune his running round the London Marathon and then recovers, physically and psychological, during the early summer. In 2011 he had a poor year but in recent months he has been back to his best. He has now recorded three successive division 3 wins, he may, or may not, have left it too late for a bid at the 2012 title.
Graham MacNeil is one of our stars and one who can be relied upon when the team needs him, as for the Cheshire Grand Prix at Birchwood. Despite being close to his 50th. birthday he has run the club's fastest 5k in 2012. He has frequently been nominated in the past only to be narrowly beaten but this time he is our Runner of the Month.
