Sunday June 26th.
Damian was race winner. Rob Downs was 10th. and 1st.M45,Graham MacNeil was 16th., Jim was 17th, Trevor was 23rd., Andrew 31st., Barry 32nd., Hamish 36th., Angus 38th.,Mike Hill 43rd.,Graham Screawn 44th., Rob Gilbert 45th.
Sally took what I think was her first 60 points in the Ladies' League and was 3rd.L45, she was followed by Christine, Nicky (who was 1st.L50), Janine (who was 1st.L40), Clare and Sue.
Mick took 1st.M60 and his second 60 points of 2011. He was followed by Paul Garnett, Matt, Paul Norris and Jarrod.
Geoff was first home in League 4 followed by Sally, Peter, Christine, Nicky and Janine.
Alan took a key win in League 5 and was further helped by the rejuvenated Simon pushing Chris down to third. The youth programme further flowered with Peter fourth and Roy fifth. Leanne made her debut in the Series.
Damian took the age/sex 60-points for the first time this year. He was followed by Rob Downs, Mick, Graham MacNeil, Trevor Morris, Jim, Geoff, Nicky, Mike and Christine.
New League leader is Andrew Whittingham. Not bad in his first season, but get a copy of the table printed-off quickly, Andrew, Wilmslow's answer to Sebastian Vettel has moved-up to second. Tony drops down to third, Paul (Garnett) to 4th., Gareth to 5th. and Paul (Norris) to 6th. Geoff comes onto the leader-board ahead of Andy (Dodd), Janine, Chris, Angela, John and Alan. The early pacemakers Carolyn, Gail and Roy are slipping down the table. Don makes it 17 who have their names on the 2011 T-shirt and mug. As we hit the half-way mark we already have 88 participants in this year's competition.
The Ladies League is little changed; Janine holds her lead from Angela, Carolyn and Gail.
Tony, the Pauls and Gareth maintain their leadership of League 3.
I feared Andy's first place in League 4 might be short-lived. Geoff moves to the top but it is very competitive, Geoff having won only two races out of ten. Janine is third. John moves above Angie and Don into fourth.
Alan and Chris are tied at the top of League 5. Each have five wins and two seconds. A reminder of the rule if there were a tie at the end of the season; we go to their eighth race and if necessary beyond. At this time that favours Chris. My observation is that Chris is better on the hills and Alan on the flat. 10 races to go. Carolyn is third followed by Roy and Gail.
Tony holds his lead in the age/sex league, Damian moves up to second, Geoff to third and Andrew Whittingham to fourth. Then follow the Pauls, Angela, Janine, John and Chris.
