Damian, Janine, Mike Halman and I formed half the parkrun team for this crazy relay race from Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol to Windsor Castle. The 128 mile route was mainly off road along muddy canal and river paths with the odd dash through a city centre. It was a 3.00am start and Damian got us off to a flyer. We all ran 3 legs each totalling 14-22 miles. After various trials and several extra miles we ran into Windsor in the late afternoon 3rd place out of 4 teams. This is clearly not the full story which will have to wait for the newsletter …

Fingers crossed this becomes an open event next year so we can send a WRC team or two.
