BUPA Great Manchester 10k, Sunday 25th May
At least 8 Wilmslow runners participated. Congratulations to Katy Green for a category win in this prestigious event. Chris Cannon writes:-
"Race number 3293 , Overall position 3666 , Gender position 3391 , Age group and gender position 49 . Very pleased with this statistic . Best 10K time since Natterjack 10k Sept 09 , 16 seconds quicker than Crewe this year and a PB as a club member .
Quite pleased with the time considering I didn't get back from hard day out at Wembley until 11.30 Saturday night and was still eating left over Indian curry washed down with 2 or 3 Budweiser's in the early hours of Sunday morning . Not the best preparation I know but its not everyday your team wins the FA Cup the day before your 55th Birthday."

I watched this from outside my flat at just under 1km and saw none of the Wilmslow runners above (need my eyes testing obviously) but did see Nina & Janine running!
