Well, it was worth the wait as Wilmslow ladies won both senior and vets events.
A surprise at the head of the race as the normally invincible Olivia Walwyn was pushed into second place by GB XC International Stevie Stockton of Vale Royal making a rare outing. Our ladies packed solidly throughout and just took first place by two points from host club Stockport.
