Tony's Training Day, Sunday 31st October.
We set off from the Rugby club early on Sunday, to a destination still a closely guarded secret. A momentary hush fell in the bus when Tony announced that we would all be climbing Snowdon. A few could be heard rehearsing excuses. But in the event all 16 of us triumphed over the hill – and felt a tremendous sense of achievement in doing so. This was not just a 'hilly run', but a major mountain route, and with Tony's guidance and encouragement everyone climbed it well. We rewarded ourselves with cups of tea and hot chocolate in the cafe at the top. The descent was almost as hard, and there will be many stiff quads for a couple of days.
Many photos were taken, and will be placed in the Snowdon photo album as I receive them.
Congratulations to Tony for arranging an exceptional event.

A closely guarded secret it was : Tony had been discussing the day for some time with me and only by Sunday night was I aware of where you had all been : It sounds fantastic and wish I could have been there : Most importantly , I hope you are all mighty proud of yourselves ……Langley , call that a hill !! Thanks Tony for putting it all together .
Nick.
