Anything near Huddersfield is going to have a lot of hills in it but this was like Langley 7 backed into the Shady Oak giving 1100 ft of ascent and some crazy downhill to match. Certainly great therapy for the legs less than 20 hours after the Nationals.
It was a challenging course but the race was let down by shambolic organisation including queuing to finish like Sale Sizzler last year and times that seemed to be anything up to a minute out.
