Jim's in good form and was always going to be a handful today. I tried to get away from him as we skipped through the autumn leaves in the woodland sections but he hung on and surged past in the last 150m. Stuart enjoyed the spectacle from a safe distance in 3rd. I'm not sure that I can remember another Wilmslow 1-2-3 since the very earliest days.
James is getting back up to speed and finished 6th while Geoff was close to his course PB in the peleton of runners around 20 minutes.
But the big story of the day was the quiet return of a Wilmslow running legend…
