It was almost ideal conditions for running the park: warm but not too humid and sort of springy underfoot through the woodland sections. The result was some great times from top to bottom of the 260 strong field and a fun morning for everyone.
Damian finally succeeded in getting up for the 9am start and was rewarded with a fine win in under 16 minutes to rank him 5th on the all-time league and move the rest of us down a notch in the rankings. Former course record holder Bill now finally exits the top 50. Tom McGaff will need to come back to the park once he's fit again because his M50 record which has always looked safe as houses went to Chris Brogan by just a few seconds.
Sue was leading through the first lap and looking set for another win but was caught in the second lap and pushed into second woman by 10s.
James Wheeler put in another fast run to hold off the improving Vinny for 5th place.
