We had another visit today from the talented Warrington AC junior team who made the most of the good running conditions. Dan CLIFFE (JM15-19) of Warrington AC won in a fantastic 15:36. Team mate Stephen BROADHURST (JM15-19) chased Dan all the way to finish second in 15:49, taking 30s off his course best – not easy at this level. Dan and Stephen take the 2nd and 4th places in the all time rankings.
Stuart finished 3rd on the day leading in the whole Parrot family. James Wheeler who had his first taste of WRC on the 2 x 2 mile bypass this week was 5th.
Meanwhile in an challengingly mixed message we managed to hand out a free UK Athletic book on nutrition for athletes along with the bacon butty vouchers.
