Summer Series 2008 – Race 7 (The Roaches)

As Graham said, this race did provide a different challenge to Bowdon, and in complete contrast to last year was run in perfect conditions.  Yet another good turnout with 30 Wilmslow runners enjoying the evening sun at this popular Staffordshire Moorland race.  Some excellent performances, particularly by Damian in beating Simon Bailey – who is normally unbeatable over this distance and terrain.

There is very little movement to report, except that Mike now currently heads the table on points.  Only Mike, Tony and Penny have completed all seven races so far and in doing so earn the much-coveted T-shirt.  Plenty of time for everyone else to do likewise.

Great to see Anne and Kasey make their debut in the series.
