The XC season is now reaching its climax : The time when the medal issues finally get resolved .
The situation :
Men :
- Lead the vets table
- 3rd in the senior men : chance of 2nd or even losing 3rd spot to Salford and ending up 4th.
- Numerous runners who can win individual honours
Ladies :
- 6th in the senior ladies with a chance of 5th
- 3rd in the vets table with a chance of 2nd
- Numerous runners who can win individual honours
Four races out of five now complete and so much hanging in the balance in the final race .
Final race is Woodbank Pk on Sunday 11th February . With so many possible outcomes we are hoping for a big turnout both runners and supporters . The support is always appreciated by the runners . Thanks to all those that have cheered the runners on those muddy Saturdays . It really makes a difference .
We are planning an end of XC season hot pot supper one Thursday in the club when all medals can be presented .Details tbc.
So , you know whats coming next !!

Extra event :
We are looking to enter a team/teams in the Wilf Richards XC relays at Heaton Pk : Saturday 3rd March : Men 4 x 3 miles and ladies 3 x 3 miles : Interested names again please to me (men) , Kate (ladies).
