This Saturday saw 24 Club Members run at 10 parkrun events.
A few solos:
Paul on home territory as was Angie and Ian too in York. Mike chose to revisit, after a 3 year gap, a Parke at the opposite end of the country to last week! Richard getting back into running first timed at Stretford.
A few pairs were out running too. The Johnstone’s first timed on the South Coast. Sharon first in her Age Category [AC]. Nick and Don at Burnage. Don first timed and was sub-30. Nicky first in her AC and top on AG with over 80% and a time4 that was just a 2seconds slower than her previous time in 2017. Dave first timed at Cheadle and was third. Honours too to Kate; not showing any signs of leg weariness in her tour-de-France jaunt she was first lady home and PB’d for the third time on the trot at the course!! Top AG too – Dave was second on AG as well.
Onto trios. 😊 It was all quiet again on the Wilmslow front. Sam and Rebecca first home. Rebecca PB’ing. Sam top on AG – Rebecca second. Nick top in his AC.
The popular A-events saw most runners out chasing their PBs.
Alexandra saw Graham return after a 2-year absence with his fastest parkrun for some time. Matt and PaulG first timed. All three had Season seasons bests. Ian top in his AC. Roy finished with no falls or points penalties. Where will Paul run his 400th?
The up and coming Alderley Park is now proving the place to strut your new kit!! The Breakfast Club took on the Gorsey Boys! Richard first club member home
