Summer Series after 20 races

One Race to go:                              Wirksworth Undulator              Sunday October 22nd.

Another 100 points, Dianne’s grip on first place is becoming a stranglehold but she’s not arithmetically home yet, 100 points for Jeremy in the final race would take him one above Di.

Jeremy aside, Matt looks good for second and Jarrod for third. Tom’s fourth place is less secure, that’s down to Sunday.  Tim is 12th.

Paul Norris has been the leading League 2 runner for some time ,he is in 5th. place, but he was beaten by Louisa and Janine at Farndon and both could overtake him on Sunday. Winksworth looks a course on which Louisa would be the greater threat. It is also a course on which Tony is likely to excel, but he is probably too far behind.

Only two points separate Diane Bygrave and Paul Garnett so that may prove interesting. Richard is 13th.

In League 2 itself, Louisa has already overhauled Paul. Paul Garnett is third, Diane and Janine are tied on 4th. Tony is sixth, but that could change on Sunday. Richard is seventh.

Mark, in 11th. place, leads the League 3 runners, from Sally Price,14th., Ian, Patrick, Chris, Gail, Sally Gilliver, Nicky, Catriona and John. Carolyn is 27th.

However, in League 3 itself, it is Sally who leads from Mark, Nicky, Patrick, Sally Gilliver, Gail, Chris, John, Catriona and Carolyn.

Colin has dominated League 4 but Ian, at 22nd., leads him in the Main Table by two places. Colin, Julie and Simon are tied at 24th., Jan is 27th., Don 29th., Sue 30th. and Trevor 31st. League 4 itself tells a truer story, Colin is the comfortable winner, Julie is tied in second place with Ian and Jan is only one point behind. Fifth place does not do justice to Simon’s performances on the road. Then come Don, Sue, for whom the end of the season has come just as she is hitting form, and Trevor.

Jeremy and Graham are the runners with six races completed, who could change things.

31 have now completed 7 races, I think Tony has relented, 7 races gets your name on the mug.

Completing the 13 races and with their names already on the 2017 T-shirt are Matt (14), Mark (15), Patrick (13), Chris (16), Gail (15), Ian (15), Julie (13) and Simon (13).
