    Tatton Yule Romp
    Dec 8 @ 9:45 am – 11:30 am

A great way to shake off the pre Christmas shopping frenzy – join us for 10 km of mixed trail, off road and road running through the beautiful Tatton Park in Knutsford Cheshire.

With an undulating but not hilly route, with a variety of terrain underfoot, you’ll need good trail shoes. A good race for novices, there’s a great atmosphere and lots of people who run in fancy dress. If you are competitive there is also the “sharp end” – 10km in 36 minutes or so if you want to get into the record books.

1500 runners, always sold out in advance so be ready when the website opens in August 2019.

Also a 3K Fun Run, organised by KTC Junior, primarily aimed at children age 6-16

With showers and hot food available at the end, and a goody bag that is rated one of the best in the country this is a race you shouldn’t miss.

All money goes to charity, including Carers Trust, David Lewis, East Cheshire Hospice and NW Air Ambulance.

The race starts at the Knutsford Gate to Tatton Park and finishes just outside Egerton Youth Club on Mereheath Lane.

Team trophies will be awarded in two categories: running clubs and other groups. First three runners home (must be a mixed gender team) will be recorded.

Please note that the times recorded for those who enter as affiliated runners will count in the Running Club competition. They will not count as members of teams entered in the non-running club competition.

    Stockport 10 mile
    Dec 15 @ 9:45 am – 12:00 pm

A favourite of some Club Members this course is  quite undulating over a testing 10 miles, mainly on the road, but with a short (1½m) off road section. The start and finish are at the Woodbank Stadium and there are two challenging climbs at 5 miles & 8½ miles. The course, although well marshalled, is not traffic free, be aware of traffic hazards along the way. The areas where road hazards are most likely to occur will be coned off allowing ease of passage for runners in single file. This applies twice at early stages of the race and the cones are only evident for a few meters in each case. Do not run outside of the cones into the road. See website for more details.

f you enter the race prior to Nov 9th, your first name will be printed on your race number and this will be posted out to you along with your electronic chip and race information pack.

If you enter the race between Nov 9th and Nov 16th, your race number will be posted out to you along with your electronic chip and race information pack. (no name will be printed)

If you enter the race after Nov 16th, you will need to pick up your race number, electronic chip and race information pack, on the day from Registration Enquiries. This will be open between 8:30am and 9:45am.

There will be NO entries on the day.

Often fills up very quickly.  See website here  to enter or for more details.
