    Summer Party

    Summer get-together for members and their families. I’ve volunteered to host a Summer Party at my home in Goostrey and whilst it’s a 20 minute drive for most of you, I promise it’s a great party venue and will be well worth it when you get there. We have our own Summer Party the following day, so a marquee, music and activities will already be in place.

    The date will be Saturday 31st August from late afternoon and you’re welcome to bring a friend, partner or your family. There will be a modest contribution to the event. Could you please let Paul (paul_norris@ntlworld.com) know if you’re free and would be interested in coming. If we have enough members to make a party, we’ll press the green light and get planning. If we don’t have enough people for this occasion

    Woodford 10k [SS]

    Summer Series race. This 10K event starts and finishes at The Woodford Centre (SK7 1PS) – the first 2km of the route is on quiet rural roads then turning onto public footpaths and tracks. Towards the end of the run there is a slight grassy hill before finishing on flat quiet rural roads.
