A slightly cooler evening for a change saw 4 club members run race 2 of 4. Paul was second in his category and Graham 4th. Paul broke 21 minutes for a season best.
For Colin he was 2 seconds outside his seasons best – which set in the first of this years Sizzlers. Graham knocked 2 minutes off his Series #1 time for his Season Best.
The last 2 sizzlers are on July 28th and August 11th.

The standards are so high in the Sizzlers. When you think that well over the first 400 were all under 30 minutes, just compare that to a typical ParkRun. Super runs by my 3 fellow club members, kindly allowing me to bring up the rear for the club! I was exactly a minute slower than the first Sizzler. I made the schoolboy error of going too fast in the first half and paying the price in the last 2k.
