Wilmslow members parkrun results 25th June 2022

Apologies .. the report was sat in my out-tray 🙁

This Saturday we had 23 runners at 10 events. Some abroad!

Over in Nottingham Richard first timed around the lakes at the country park. Julian was back at Harrogate. Colin chose Congleton and was quite clos to his 2019 time. Young Dunkley decided to get pally and returned to parkruns after a two-year absence. JP was at Lyme Park and registered a faster time than his last visit in February. Matt was back at Stretford after a four year absence. Further afield, somewhere in Florence, Ja9 was second lady, equalling her fastest run this year -there seemed to be a number of UK looking names running there that day.

Another quiet course and a bit afield too saw Tracy record top AG at Munich. Nic only four places behind and top in his Age Category.

Third quietest course [I think that must be a record for them at Cheadle] saw Sue come top on AG. Second lady too. GrahamD was our first finisher – with a PB.  Mr G won the battle of the Pauls.  But Mr N got a PB!They were followed by Sharon and Oliver – the latter just missing out on his PB.

That just leaves Wilmslow where they celebrated Alan Turin. We had 8 club runners ran. James, pausing from his socialising work was first Wilmslow member to finish. Followed by Di. Mind you he did say he wanted to hear from the ladies.  Andrew and Dave were Wilmslow runners home. Louisa back for her first run since 2019 had a very good time. Then came Ian with his fastest time this year at Wilmslow. Rebecca, in her 250^th Parkrun, paced 25 minutes! ? And Roy sub 30 but just not bettering his quickest time there this year.
