Well a challenging course at the The Farm Club in Pickmere. A brutal course with lots of real mud.
As Ian put it: “XC was really tough, only managed 2 of 4 laps by which time the leaders, including Dan, were already home.”
Team wise our fantastic Ladies were 2nd; and our gallant men 4th.
Claire and Dan both finished 4th in their races. The gaps to third were too big to close after 2 laps.
Age Cat firsts for Claire and Di. Cat3 places for Tim and Nicola.

I was there as a supporter and can vouch for the mud! It was tricky enough spectating never mind running. The ladies did us proud with a superb run by Claire, backed up by Nic, Di and Sharon. Dan had an outstanding run as did Richard. The remainder of team Wilmslow also ran well. Ian did the sensible thing given the conditions.
