Dear All,
While sadly, and in line with virtually all Leagues, we were unable to stage The MACCL this season, we are staging the Cheshire County XC Champs.
The difference, smaller numbers for the County XC and we have private farmland…this does still mean that the local council/SAG could pull it, but given that we are going with Saturday 20th Feb, we are very optimistic.
- Venue is Betley, near Crewe…actually marginally in Staffs! Very good venue.
- We are not going live with entries until the NY.
- Chip timing, and I have got agreement from EA for one year only to allow chip timing to decide the result as opposed to first past the post…although its likely to be the same.
- We don’t have a host club…so much is dependent on having sufficient volunteers to marshal, set up and take down.
- Set up Friday…Marshal Saturday am or pm. Take down after.
