A quick update on Running Bear shop….
In lockdown we have had to operate on-line, with virtual gait analysis, telephone calls, WhatsApp, Click and Collect etc. As a retailer, you’ve got to keep turning your stock or it becomes dead money very quickly. If you sit on it for a month, there will be more deliveries arriving at your door and you’ll need to take drastic action to shift your stock sooner or later. So we discount whilst we’re only on-line, because we can’t offer the personal service we normally do and we’re up against the on-line discounters. Until tonight, we’re offering 25% off everything. It’s not profitable but it means we’ll be in good shape when the shop opens again on Wednesday.
As you know WRC always gets 15% off (except for Club kit, which is non-profit. I’d like to increase the WRC Club discount to 25% off between now and Christmas in recognition of the challenges we’ve all been facing. Hopefully everyone can enjoy some new shoes and kit for some racing in the New Year….or gifts for family and friends 🎅🏻
