You may have seen the film 300. It portrayed a true action in history: the Battle of Thermopylae within the Persian Wars; when a few Spartans held off nearly 100,000 to 150, 000 Persians. A narrow pass was held for three days against a vast Persian army by just 300 Spartans, 299 of whom perished.
Well we only have 5: NicR, Rebecca, RichardC, Tim and TracyB against 62 Bollington Harriers!! They are laughing at us. They are going to trounce us. Or are they? Who can stand up for the club?
