The Alderley By-Pass injected momentum into the Series with the early enthusiasts starting to be blown away, not, at this stage, by the superstars, but by League 2 and 3 runners asserting themselves. So Ian drops to 9th., Julie to 11th. and Trevor to 12th. Another popular race this Sunday should see a further surge by the stronger runners to occupy their appropriate positions near the top of the table.
Matt holds top place. Paul Norris moves up to second with Paul Garnett up to third. The rest of top ten now reads Mark, Tony, Gail, Nicky, John, Ian and Chris.
Those on the cusp of qualifying with 6 races are led by Diane McVey, Jarrod and Tim.
5-race leader is Tom followed by Ian Smallwood, Louisa and Janine.
4-race leaders are Barry, Jeremy and Cat.
Nicky takes over as top lady from Gail with Julie third.
League 1 is Matt followed by Diane, Jarrod and Tim.
League 2 is now led by Paul Norris, from Paul Garnett and Tony.
League 3 already has 5 runners who have completed their 7 races. Mark, Gail and Sally retain the podium, John and Chris close-up.
League 4 has Julie and Ian tied at the top with Trevor third. It is not, however, going to last for long, Colin has 6 first places, Rachael 4 seconds.
63 have started on the Summer Series journey, we are approaching the halfway stages, lots of opportunities ahead, but perhaps the time for some to check their diaries.
