I did the tour of Tameside a couple of years ago with Christian.. for anyone thinking about entering, I can thoroughly recommend the event. It has a friendly but competitive feel about it.. The combination of fell , trail , half marathon and 7 mile road race provides something for everyone… I think they are offering a price of £53 for all four.. Although it no longer commands the international field from Simon and Roy’s days , I hope it gets the support it deserves and local clubs get behind it.. Bernard
