The London Marathon magazines are being posted at the moment, and if you tried to enter you will either get a ‘You’re In’, or a ‘Sorry!’.
If you are a ‘Sorry’ there is still another chance – the club gets two guaranteed places. If you get a club place you still enter in the normal way (before the end of the year) and pay the normal fee, but there is no further ballot.
Post a comment here or drop an e-mail to Chris Cannon if you would like to be considered for one of the club places. Preference will be given to people who entered via the London Marathon ballot back in April, but were unsuccessful, but anyone who would like to run the London can apply.

Nick , the only criteria I have been informed of, somewhat late I may add, is that to go in the WRC ballot is you have to be a member for at least a year. I have informed James.

I’ve no problem with being removed due to the rule, I wouldn’t have thrown my name into the hat if i had known about it in advance. Good luck to Bernard and Amy and anyone else entering. After 7 years of Sorry magazines hopefully I can qualify with a G4A for 2018. I only missed out this year by 82 seconds after losing over 10 mins due to blisters, my kryptonite for marathon distance!
