ITS TIGHT AT THE TOP WITH ONE RACE TO GO.

The senior men finished 4th at Boggart Hole Clough and retain third overall one point ahead of Salford.A lot will depend on the quality of teams that race on the final weekend at Broadoak Saturday 9th January. Not too many mince pies over Christmas!
The vets kept their winning sequence intact and won for the third time. Same four counters at each race ( Malcolm, Tom, Rob, Nick ).Naturally first overall after three races.
Individual standings can alter as the placings below are for athletes who have completed all three events but could change as best three results from four races count. Thus others could come into the reckoning after race four .
Malcolm Fowler 2nd overall and leading vet.
Tom McGaff 9th overall and leading V50.
Rob Downs 10th overall and 2nd V40.
Nick Bishop 21st overall and 2nd V45.
Very well done to everyone that has run to date and helped to make it up to now a great season.It can of course all change but it leaves the final race to be one of real interest and opportunity.
For those running , the Cheshire XC league starts Sunday at Macclesfield. Both man and ladies.
